On our 24-month apprenticeship programme, you will learn the skills to become a successful Screen Lighting Technician with a fantastic range of future career options ahead of you. With the current levels of advancement in technology there could not be a more exciting time to join us, and following successful completion of your apprenticeship you will be offered a permanent role, with one of the best rental equipment providers in the industry.Throughout the apprenticeship, you’ll work at our brand-new Film & TV Hub in Wembley whilst also gaining direct experience on production sets, where you will learn to:Service and prepare equipment for Film & TV productionsEnsure all equipment is well maintained and fully operational for production rental requirements, ensuring customers receive all equipment correctly and in a timely manner, and that all items are returned on completion of the hire periodReview all equipment following hire periods and assess for any repair requirementsEnsure all equipment is correctly packed and loaded for transport to production sets, whilst following all mandatory Health & Safety proceduresWork in an organised and efficient manner, following all company procedures to maintain an effective operational environmentAssist a variety of equipment teams within the Wembley HubWork on production sets and alongside a lighting crew, helping with production lighting setups and managing the equipmentBecome an ambassador for our “Customer First” culture, resolving any issues quickly and keeping your colleagues and customers informed, so they feel truly valuedManage multiple tasks and deadlines as part of a varied workday in a fast-paced operational environmentWe’ll provide you with a comprehensive company induction, role-specific training, and apprenticeship support. You will become a part of a larger apprentice cohort where you will be able to form lifelong relationships and engage in a wider support network.We’ll also support your personal growth and development in line with your Sunbelt Rentals career aspirations. You will attend both in-house and manufacturer courses to expand your product knowledge and skills.Apprenticeship TrainingYou will complete a level 3 Creative Industries Production Technician Apprenticeship Standard, following the Screen Lighting Technician pathway. This programme will be delivered using a combination of:Workplace experience to gain practical skillsGuidance and training from an experienced workplace mentorIndustry recognised training leading to an apprenticeship qualification. You will attend training workshops both online and in person. These will take place within the workplace and at other training locationsAbout the Application ProcessComplete the application.You will be asked some additional screening questions, which will need to be completed before progressing to the next stage of the processYour application will be reviewed by our Recruitment Team and you may be invited to complete a video interviewIf successful at video interview, you will then be invited to one of our online assessment centres.From there, again if successful, your application will be passed to the hiring manager at Sunbelt Rentals, who will arrange an interview with you at the centre/depot. #J-18808-Ljbffr
