And where better to grow than within a genuinely supportive team that feels more like family – something all too rare and undervalued in today’s working world.So, whether you\’re currently in a Band 5 role and want more variety, responsibility and progression, or you\’re ready to move from a Band 4 position and prove yourself in a senior role with full support – this is the perfect next step.As a Clinical Coder Health Group Lead, You should be able to accurately code using ICD-10 and OPCS-4 classifications will be key, as you work with the Solventum Medicode Coding System.You’ll also be collaborating directly with otherHealth Group Leads. providing critical feedback on complex cases, and driving improvements in coding depth and accuracy.Key Responsibilities:• Follow the four step coding process, ensuring compliance with NHS Digital and WHO standards.• Liaise directly with Health Group and Mortality Leads to provide detailed feedback on complex information and contribute to ongoing improvements in coding practices.• Guide, support and mentor junior coding staff, monitor workloads, and maintain a productive and motivated team.• Ensure all coding tasks are completed to the highest standards within set deadlines, with attention to detail under pressure.We’re looking for someone who:· Holds theNational Clinical Coding Qualification (ACC)· Has substantial experience in clinical coding using ICD-10 and OPCS-4· Has experience using PASID System, an encoder such as Solventum Medicode, IFit and ideally BI or similar tools· Is willing to learn Lorenzo· Has strong communication skills to liaise effectively with multidisciplinary teams· Works confidently under pressure and meets tight deadlines with precision· Enjoys mentoring others and sharing knowledge within a collaborative teamThe Humber Health Partnership is one of the largest acute and community Partnership arrangements in the NHS, seeing well over one million patients every year and managing a budget of over £1.3 billion.Made up of two Trusts – Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust (NLAG) and Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust (HUTH) – our Partnership has significant ambitions and is committed to delivering world-class hospital and community services for the 1.65 million people we serve.Together we employ nearly 20,000 staff.
