Finance Business Partner - £400 per day - Start 28th of August - initial three months contract
- Paid via an umbrella company
- Recently Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Demonstrable experience in a business partnering, operational finance, project finance or commercial finance environment.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
- Brilliant behaviours with a growth mindset and desire to learn and improve themselves and the wider business.
- Full driving licence and desire to visit the projects on a regular basis.
- Covering York and other areas of Yorkshire - So must be able to drive to sites
Support the Energy Substation & Renewable Connection Division, helping to drive strong financial performance and informed business decisions.
Working closely with operational and commercial teams, you'll provide valuable insight, challenge, and support to improve profitability, efficiency, and overall business outcomes.
You'll lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities, while ensuring robust financial governance, accurate reporting, and clear visibility of risks and opportunities across projects and contracts.
The role also involves supporting monthly performance reviews, analysing trends, and identifying opportunities to improve margins, optimise costs, and strengthen working capital performance.
This is a highly collaborative position where you'll partner with stakeholders across the business, influence strategic decisions, and help embed best-practice financial disciplines.
