This specialist training provider has built an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality technical training across engineering, estates, facilities management, and building services sectors. With modern facilities, strong industry partnerships, and continued growth, they are looking for an Electrical Trainer to join their team and help develop skilled professionals across the electrical industry.

In this role, you will deliver electrical training courses to learners at the training centre and occasionally at client sites across the UK. You will deliver both practical and theoretical training, assess learner progress, and ensure candidates develop the skills and knowledge required to work safely and competently within the electrical industry. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to course development, assessment and quality assurance, while working closely with clients to ensure training meets industry requirements. The role will involve occasional UK travel and overnight stays, providing a varied working environment rather than being solely classroom based.

The ideal candidate will hold an NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or an equivalent qualification, with strong knowledge of BS7671 and Inspection & Testing. Experience within electrical installation, maintenance, commercial, industrial or high-voltage environments would be highly beneficial. Previous teaching experience is not essential as full training and support will be provided.

  • Monday to Friday, 37-hour week with an early finish on Fridays
  • Occasional UK travel and overnight stays required

The Person:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
  • Strong knowledge of BS7671 and Inspection & Testing
  • Strong electrical industry experience within installation, maintenance or engineering
  • High Voltage experience would be advantageous
  • Previous teaching or training experience beneficial but not essential
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Keen to develop a long-term career in training and education
