Tony Alan Recruitment is currently working with a well-established, respected law firm in the Worthing area, seeking an experienced Partner / Head of Commercial to lead an established team of five.
This is a genuine leadership opportunity for an ambitious senior solicitor looking to take the next step, with the chance to join as a Salary Partner and a clear route to Equity Partnership for the right individual.
You'll remain hands-on with a quality caseload while leading and developing the department.
Key Duties
- Business and company sales & acquisitions
- Share sales & purchases
- Company commercial matters and shareholder agreements
- Commercial property transactions
- Development work including Section 106 agreements, overage and option agreements
- Agricultural property matters
- Commercial leases, renewals and landlord & tenant work
- Leading and mentoring a team of solicitors and support staff
- Reviewing processes and implementing best practice
- Supervising files to ensure quality and consistency
- Developing client relationships and networking with SMEs and regional businesses
Key requirements
- Qualified Solicitor with significant experience in Commercial law
- Leadership or supervisory experience
- Commercially minded with strong client relationship skills
- Keen to play a key role in the growth of a successful department
