Duties
- Servicing and repairing cars and light commercial vehicles to manufacturer standards
- Diagnosing and rectifying mechanical and electrical faults
- Conducting vehicle health checks and inspections as the Vehicle Technician
- Carrying out repairs efficiently within prescribed timeframes
- Maintaining a clean and safe workshop environment
- Ensuring high-quality workmanship and attention to detail
- Working effectively as part of a skilled workshop team
Requirements
- Minimum five years' experience as a Vehicle Technician, Mechanic, or Motor Vehicle Technician
- Proven diagnostic, servicing, and repair skills
- Experience within a main dealership, independent garage, or automotive repair centre
- Full UK driving licence
- MOT Testing Licence is advantageous but not essential
- Strong teamworking skills and a positive attitude
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy workshop environment
