They're looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to play a key role in delivering electrical building services designs, leading projects and mentoring junior engineers.
The Role
You'll be involved throughout the project lifecycle, from initial concept through to completion, taking ownership of electrical design while working closely with clients, architects and multidisciplinary teams.
This is an opportunity to work on varied, technically interesting projects while having genuine input into how they're delivered.
Responsibilities
- Produce electrical building services designs and calculations
- Prepare specifications and technical reports
- Lead projects through all RIBA stages
- Coordinate with mechanical, structural and architectural teams
- Attend design and client meetings
- Mentor and support junior engineers
- Ensure projects are delivered to programme and budget
What We're Looking For
- Experience designing electrical building services within a consultancy environment
- Strong knowledge of UK Building Regulations and BS 7671
- Experience using industry-standard design software
- Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
- Chartered status, or working towards it, would be advantageous
- Strong communication and project management skills
