About the Role

Our client is looking to recruit a Private Client Solicitor/Paralegal to join their friendly and well-established team based in Whitstable, near Canterbury.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to kick start their career in a law firm, a newly qualified Solicitor looking to develop their career in private client law, as well as experienced Private Client Solicitors seeking their next challenge.

Our client is open to considering candidates at different stages of their career and will offer a competitive salary based on experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a varied caseload of private client matters.
  • Advise clients on the preparation of Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs) and Estate Administration.
  • Handle Probate and the administration of estates.
  • Provide advice on Trusts and Inheritance Tax planning where appropriate.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, delivering a high standard of client care.
  • Draft legal documents and correspondence accurately and efficiently.
  • Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide an efficient and professional service.

About You

  • Newly Qualified (NQ) Solicitors with experience in private client work gained during training.
  • Private Client Solicitors with relevant post-qualification experience.
