Your new company

An established international business is looking to appoint a qualified Financial Accountant to join its finance team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a complex, multi-entity environment where you'll play a key role in statutory reporting, technical accounting and compliance activities.

Your new role

You'll be responsible for delivering accurate statutory reporting across multiple entities, working closely with auditors and senior finance stakeholders to ensure all reporting obligations are met.

This is a job with a great level of autonomy and ownership.

You'll fully own the reporting for several entities taken the accounts from ETB through to audit.

Key responsibilities will include

  • Preparing statutory accounts and supporting schedules
  • Managing year-end reporting and audit processes
  • Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
  • Supporting tax and broader financial compliance activities
  • Maintaining robust financial controls and documentation
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders across the business
  • What you'll need to succeed

You'll be ACA or ACCA qualified with a strong grounding in statutory accounting and financial reporting.
You'll also have:

  • Previous audit experience, either in practice or industry
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge
  • Experience working within a multi-entity environment
  • Experience of SAP or an equivalent ERP would be advantageous
