We are currently seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join our client's busy automotive service centre in Weston-super-Mare.

- Starting salary between £33,000 and £36,000 per annum, dependent on experience and qualifications
- Performance-related bonus scheme averaging £3,600 annually
- Guaranteed 5-day, 42.5-hour week, Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm
- One in two Saturdays, 8:30am-4:00pm, with a day off in the week when working a Saturday

Duties of the Vehicle Technician
- Carry out mechanical servicing and repairs on cars and light vans
- Ensure all work complies with company procedures and Health & Safety regulations
- Maintain high standards of quality and professionalism in line with customer service expectations
- Assist with diagnostics and repairs, following manufacturer guidelines
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure efficient workflow
- Complete required documentation accurately and promptly as the Vehicle Technician
- Support the team in maintaining a safe and clean workshop environment
Requirements of the Vehicle Technician
- UK driving licence with minimal points
- Qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
- Practical experience in an automotive workshop environment preferred
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and adhere to deadlines
- Proactive attitude and a commitment to quality workmanship
