People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Press Brake Setter to join our well-established client based in West Bromwich, West Midlands. This is a fantastic opportunity, offering great benefits and genuine opportunities for growth and progression.
This position is ideal for applicants looking for a role as a Press Brake Technician, Industrial Press Brake Operative or Press Brake Machinist.
Shifts:
- Monday to Friday
- 06:00 – 14:00 / 14:00–22:00 (rotating weekly)
Rates of Pay: £14.00 - £16.20 per hour

Day-to-day duties:
- Setting up and running machines to ensure optimum efficiency
- Identifying and resolving faults during set-up in line with order requirements
- Completing paperwork and inputting data accurately into the system
- Performing checks against instructions to ensure product quality and conformity
- Carrying out regular quality inspections and correcting any issues immediately
- Ensuring adequate stock of raw materials to maintain productivity
- Keeping the work area clean and tidy at all times
- Reporting defective machine parts promptly
Essential skills:
- Previous machine operation and machinery skills
- Quality control expertise
- Proficiency in using hand tools
- Strong communication skills
