We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced job seeker for the position of Part-Time HGV Technician with our client based in Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire.

Duties:

  • Conduct diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining HGVs in accordance with manufacturer specifications
  • Ensure that work areas are maintained in a safe, clean, and organised manner
  • Complete service and repair documentation accurately and efficiently
  • Adhere strictly to health and safety protocols within the workshop
  • Assist with general workshop duties to support team efforts
  • Work productively to meet targets without compromising on quality standards

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an HGV Technician or in a similar role
  • Full, valid HGV technician qualification (City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
  • Knowledge and competence with diagnostic equipment and heavy vehicle repair standards
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Flexible attitude towards working up to four days per week
  • Valid HGV licence
