An opportunity for a Senior Bookkeeper and Outsourced Accountant to join a chartered accountancy practice in Wells for a contract of up to around 6 - 12 months. You will work on mixed industry clients providing bookkeeping services up to extended trial balance, VAT, as well as preparing year end accounts and working with clients on site, one day a week as an outsourced accountant. Full time, or part time can be explored to suit around the right person.

Client Details: A highly successful and positively growing accountancy practice based in Wells. The business has a wide ranging industry client base. Part time or full time working arrangements can work up to four days, or full time. A mix of remote/home to office working can also be on offer.

Description: Joining as Contract Senior Bookkeeper and Outsourced Accountant for a contract period of up to around 6 - 12 months, based in Wells, Somerset you will be working on a mixed industry client base focused on providing bookkeeping services up to extended trial balance, preparing VAT returns as well as preparing year end accounts and acting for one or two clients on site, one day a week as an outsourced accountant. You will carve a key support role here to managers and directors with a focus on client service.

Profile: For this contract Senior Bookkeeper and Outsourced Accountant role you may be any of AAT, ACCA, ACA qualified, or you may have developed your career through experience to date only. Most importantly, as a key requirement you will have developed experience across any of bookkeeping, preparing VAT returns, CIS, payroll, accounts prep etc developed within an accountancy practice firm of any size. You will have at least three to four years, or many more years experience in your career and be seeking an interim, contract role within a growing firm of chartered accountants for a period of anything from six to twelve months or so.

Job Offer: £30,000 - £40,000 + dependent on the background and experience of the right professional.
