An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Management Accountant to join a growing international organisation operating within the environmental services, recycling and resource recovery sector.

Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, you will take ownership of the financial reporting and performance of a European manufacturing operation.

This role offers a broad remit spanning month-end reporting, statutory accounting, budgeting, forecasting, financial controls, audit support and business partnering with operational stakeholders.

  • Preparation and ownership of monthly management accounts and statutory reporting.
  • Balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, prepayments and month-end journals.
  • Budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management.
  • Supporting audits and ensuring compliance with local accounting and tax requirements.
  • Inventory, stock and fixed asset accounting.
  • Financial analysis and performance reporting to support business decision-making.
  • Business partnering with operational and senior management teams.
  • Driving continuous improvement across finance processes and controls
  • What you'll need to succeed
  • ACCA, ACA or CIMA qualified, or nearing completion.
  • Strong management accounting and financial reporting experience.
  • Background within manufacturing, engineering, industrial, chemicals, automotive or similar operational environments.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn financial data into commercial insight.
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced business.
  • German GAAP (HGB)
  • Knowledge of international accounting environments would be advantageous
