Following 40% growth last year, the business is investing in its next phase of expansion and is looking for a Senior Accountant / Client Manager who wants more responsibility, greater client exposure and the opportunity to play a key role in shaping the future of the practice.
Initially, you'll split your time between preparing accounts and reviewing work completed by the team.
As you settle into the role, your focus will naturally evolve towards reviewing, mentoring and supporting the Partners, giving you the chance to step away from day-to-day production work and into a more strategic position.
- What you'll be doing
- Review year-end accounts, personal tax returns and P11Ds
- Prepare statutory accounts during the initial transition period
- Become the go-to reviewer for the wider team
- Support, mentor and develop junior accountants
- Manage workflow to ensure deadlines are achieved
- Build trusted relationships with clients
- Work alongside the Directors to improve processes and support continued growth
What we're looking for
You'll already have experience working within an accountancy practice and be confident producing accounts and reviewing work.
Whether you're ACA, ACCA, AAT qualified, part-qualified or qualified by experience, we're much more interested in finding someone with the right attitude, technical ability and ambition.
