Working within the Vehicle Preparation team, you'll help ensure used vehicle stock is inspected, prepared and ready to the required standard.
The position offers plenty of variety, and your workload will change depending on business requirements.

- Completing Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDIs)
- Carrying out vehicle safety and condition inspections
- Completing light mechanical repairs and fitting work
- Identifying defects and required remedial work
- Preparing used vehicle stock to the required standard
- Completing relevant MOT and inspection documentation
- Working alongside the wider preparation and workshop teams
- Moving between PDI and MOT duties depending on business requirements
What We're Looking For
The MOT Tester qualification is the key requirement for this position.
Ideally, you'll have
- An MOT Tester qualification/licence
- Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, PDI Technician, MOT Tester or Fast-Fit Technician
- Good practical mechanical knowledge
- The ability to carry out PDI and light mechanical work
- Good attention to detail
- A reliable and flexible approach to your work
You do not need to be a Diagnostic or Master Technician to be considered.
Equally, if you're MOT qualified but haven't tested recently, don't let that put you off.
Candidates who require an MOT refresher before returning to regular testing will be considered.
