Our client, a fantastic, well established employer are now recruiting for a motivated Service Manager

As an important member of the management team, you will be expected to run an efficient department, ensuring customer satisfaction at all times, motivating and training staff whilst improving processes and systems as well as driving the business forward.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maximise customer satisfaction by treating everyone as an individual and delivering an exceptional service experience
  • Ensure the business maintains regular contact with all existing customers ensuring service levels are being met, issues are being resolved and further business opportunities identified.
  • Monitor department performance against budget, identify any shortfall and implement plans to improve the performance
  • Provide guidance, training and appraisals to each of the Service team to encourage a forward-thinking attitude which will help them achieve their full potential
  • Encourage all staff to recognise additional business opportunities through the use of regular briefings and the implementation of appropriate systems and incentives.
  • Recruit, select, train and develop staff as required
  • Ensure dealer standards are met and systems and procedures are complied with, whenever commercially viable.

What we're looking for

  • Experience gained from a similar role within the Motor trade is essential.
  • An ambitious and target driven leader with a proven track record of exceeding targets
  • The ability to train, coach and motivate the Service team to develop them to their full potential
  • A customer focused individual with an uncompromising attitude to delivering excellent Customer service and maintain a customer centric culture within the Service team
  • Outstanding interpersonal, organisational and communication skills
  • Innovative individual, willing to explore new methods of driving performance
  • A full and valid UK driving Licence
