We are seeking a qualified and experienced MOT Tester to join our client's reputable dealership in Wantage, Oxfordshire.

Duties of an MOT Tester
- Carry out MOT tests on customer vehicles in accordance with Ministry standards
- Diagnose vehicle issues and perform associated servicing and repairs
- Complete accurate reports and documentation for each vehicle tested
- Support workshop activities to maintain an efficient workflow
- Liaise effectively with team members to ensure high standards of service delivery
- Follow health and safety protocols and maintain workshop cleanliness and organisation
Requirements of an MOT Tester
- Active Class 4 and 7 MOT testing licence
- Valid UK driving licence with minimal points
- NVQ Level 2/3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent qualification preferred
- Alternatively, significant practical experience in vehicle repair and maintenance with an active MOT licence
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm, with 1 in 3 Saturdays (8:30am-12:30pm)
