TwoSix Recruitment are recruiting for an Administrator who has worked within a manufacturing environment. This is a varied role where you'll support several areas of the business, so if you enjoy being organised, working with different teams and having plenty to keep you busy, this could be a good fit.
The role at a glance
- Up to £29,000 depending on experience
- 12.30pm finish every Friday
- Monday to Thursday 7.30am – 4.30pm
- Permanent, full-time role
- Varied workload across different departments
What you'll be doing
- Processing customer orders
- Updating information on the MRP system
- Checking order and production paperwork
- Maintaining drawings, specifications and records
- Updating supplier and product information
- Supporting quality and supplier documentation
- Maintaining pricing information
- Helping with quotations
- Liaising with different departments to keep information up to date
What we're looking for
You'll need previous administration experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment and be organised, accurate and good at keeping on top of the detail. Experience with some of the following would be useful:
- ERP or MRP systems
- Production or engineering documentation
- Quality paperwork or NCRs
- Purchasing or supply chain
- Sales or customer order administration
- Microsoft Office
You don't need experience in every area. What's important is that you understand a manufacturing environment, have strong administration skills and are comfortable working with different teams and systems.
