Overview: We're working with a highly respected, market-leading loss adjusting firm that is looking to add an experienced Property Loss Adjuster to its growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their loss adjusting career who wants to build their experience in a supportive environment with strong development opportunities. You'll manage a varied portfolio of domestic and commercial property claims, typically ranging from £10,000 to £100,000, while supporting senior adjusters on more complex and higher-value losses. The firm has an excellent reputation for technical expertise, professionalism and client service, with a clear progression route into Senior Loss Adjuster, Major & Complex Loss (MCL) and High Net Worth (HNW) Adjusting. Role Responsibilities:
- Managing a caseload of property claims from initial instruction through to settlement
- Attending site visits with senior adjusters to assess damage, establish cause and scope of loss
- Supporting investigations, evidence gathering, and validation of claims
- Reviewing policy wordings and assisting with coverage assessments
- Preparing detailed reports and insurer documentation
- Liaising with policyholders, contractors, brokers, and other stakeholders
- Assisting with the appointment and coordination of specialists (surveyors, engineers, etc.)
- Tracking claim progression and maintaining accurate case records
- Supporting negotiation and settlement discussions under supervision
- Ensuring compliance with internal processes, client requirements, and regulatory standards
Experience Required:
- Minimum 1 year's experience in loss adjusting or property claims
- Exposure to field-based work is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of property insurance claims processes
- Confident operating in a hybrid field/office environment
- Full UK driving licence required
