Contract Type: Ongoing temporary role, with the view to go permanent for the right candidate

Hourly Pay Rate: £15.68 per hour (increasing to £16.02 per hour on completion of training)

We're seeking a Press Operative / Manufacturing Operative to join our client's team in a hands-on role where quality, safety, and teamwork are key. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow your skills in a supportive and dynamic environment.

What You'll Be Doing

After a basic training period, you'll be able to work with limited supervision to produce parts in line with health, safety, and quality standards. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Operating a limited number of machines safely and efficiently
  • Using guards and safety switches correctly
  • Locating materials and tooling
  • Identifying and using correct parts and machines for production
  • Handling tools and moulds safely
  • Following production paperwork and procedures
  • Maintaining high standards of housekeeping
  • Flexibly supporting other areas of production as needed
  • Adhering to all HSE requirements

Shift Patterns

This role operates on a two-week rotating shift pattern:

  • Week 1: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM
  • Week 2: Monday to Thursday, 2:00 PM - 11:53 PM (Friday Off!)

Includes 1 x 30-minute unpaid break per shift
