My Client is one of the UK's leading systems integrators providing automation and continuous improvement solutions to a variety of industries including steel, paper, and automotive. Established for over 25 years with a worldwide presence, the group has gone from strength to strength over the last decade to become a centre of excellence within the industry they specialise in. Due to further expansion within the British market, they are looking to add to their engineering projects team.

Key Skills

  • Minimum Degree Level in Electrical/Electronic
  • Experience of PLC Systems & Automated Machinery
  • Drives Experience

The Role

  • Understanding client requirements.
  • Electrical / controls concept design including Functional Design Specification, Safety Requirements Specification, Single Line Diagram, Network Topology, Device Layout, Cause & Effect Matrix, Safety Block Diagram, etc.
  • Handover to the Hardware Design team and review of designs produced.
  • Software Design, including Software Design Specification and production of Software / Configuration deliverables for e.g PLC, HMI, SCADA, Robot, Drives etc.
  • Maintenance of the Technical Construction File.
  • Factory Acceptance Testing.
  • Commissioning and Site Acceptance Testing.
  • Comply with relevant industry regulations, client specifications, and internal standards.
  • Meet project milestones.
  • Promote and contribute to continuous improvement.
