Motor Insurance Customer Care Agent
£24,000 – £26,000 + monthly bonus + salary review after 12 months
Rainham, Essex 1st week for training and then REMOTE
Please note: candidates without recent Motor Insurance experience will not be considered for this position.

You must also be happy to come to Rainham, Essex for your first week for training.

We're looking for an experienced Motor Insurance Customer Care Agent to join a growing, technology-led insurance business.

This is not a generic customer service role.

You'll need a solid recent understanding of motor insurance and working with customers within a motor insurer, broker, call centre or similar insurance environment.

About the Role
You'll be joining a busy motor insurance team, supporting customers throughout their insurance journey and making sure they receive a professional, straightforward and positive experience.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include

  • Handling customer enquiries relating to motor insurance policies
  • Speaking with customers by phone and providing clear, accurate information
  • Helping customers understand their cover and policy requirements
  • Making amendments and updates to customer policies where required
  • Identifying and resolving customer queries efficiently
  • Providing a high standard of customer service while working within insurance processes and regulations
  • Working closely with colleagues to ensure customers receive a consistent experience
  • Meeting agreed service and performance targets
  • Identifying opportunities to improve the customer journey and team processes

Who We're Looking For
Motor insurance experience is essential.

We are specifically looking for candidates with at least 1 year of recent, solid Motor Insurance experience gained within an insurer, broker, motor insurance call centre or similar environment.

  • The ability to explain insurance information clearly and professionally
