The IPS Group regional underwriting team have a standout new opportunity working for an innovative exciting Insurer to join them as a Broker Account Manager. In this role you take ownership of a portfolio of broker network relationships across the UK. This is a highly visible role focused on driving profitable growth, developing strategic partnerships, and identifying new business opportunities within established broker networks.
Working closely with underwriting, distribution and senior stakeholder teams, you will be responsible for developing and delivering account plans, strengthening broker engagement and increasing market share across your panel of network partners. You will act as a key ambassador for the business, building long-term relationships, presenting propositions to brokers, and ensuring a first-class experience for both broker partners and customers.
This position offers genuine flexibility and can be based anywhere in the UK, making it an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy autonomy, relationship management and a field-based commercial role. Regular travel to broker partners and industry events will form part of the position.
We are particularly interested in speaking with candidates who are looking to take the next step into a dedicated Business Development role. Individuals currently working within Commercial Insurance Broking, Commercial Sales, Trading Underwriting, Development Underwriting, Account Management or other broker-facing insurance positions will be especially well suited.
