Lead a specialist engineering team supporting some of the UK's most advanced manufacturing facilities. This isn't a high-volume service management role. We're looking for an experienced engineering leader to coordinate a small team of highly skilled Field Service Engineers supporting complex industrial plant and automated manufacturing systems across the UK.

If your background is aerospace, automotive, heavy engineering, process plant or industrial automation, we'd like to hear from you.

The Role

  • You'll plan and coordinate service activities, support engineers with technical issues, work closely with major manufacturing customers and develop engineering solutions for repairs, upgrades and improvement projects.
  • You'll also prepare quotations for remedial works and additional engineering projects, ensuring customers receive the highest levels of technical support.

We're looking for someone with:

  • Experience managing or supervising engineering or maintenance teams
  • Electrical and/or Mechanical engineering background
  • Experience within industrial manufacturing, capital equipment, automation or process plant
  • Ability to develop engineering solutions and produce quotations for remedial works
  • Strong customer relationship and planning skills

Ideal backgrounds include:

  • Aerospace Manufacturing
  • Automotive Manufacturing
  • Heavy Engineering
  • Industrial Automation
  • Capital Equipment
  • Process Plant
  • Manufacturing Maintenance

This is NOT a role for someone managing engineers completing multiple service calls each day. We're looking for someone who understands complex industrial equipment, long-duration engineering projects and supporting highly skilled engineers delivering critical maintenance within advanced manufacturing environments.

If that's your background, we'd love to hear from you.
