Senior Financial Accountant - salary plus bonus

This role is predominantly financial accounting led, with management oversight & stakeholder interaction layered on top.

It is a great role for someone technical who enjoys pace, real ownership, alongside review responsibility & leading a small team.

The bonus of this newly created role is that it will include management accounting, bringing broader scope to your working day, across the following:

  • Monthly MI and board packs
  • Variance analysis
  • Performance statistics vs benchmarks

I'm keen to speak with people who

  • Are ACA / ACCA / CIMA (part or fully qualified)
  • Have strong technical & statutory financial accounting, balance sheet & income statement reconciliations experience
  • Can deal with internal & external auditors
  • Will ensure accounting standards & controls are correctly applied
  • Technical, regulated accounting
  • Have good VAT returns knowledge (ideally property specific VAT issues)
  • Has some experience supporting or managing others
  • Real Estate / Fund Accounting experience would be a big plus but not essential.
  • Could suit a first time move from Practice
