Sales Administrator - Franchised Motor Dealership - Swindon

We're recruiting for an experienced Sales Administrator to join a busy and successful automotive dealership in Swindon.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organisational skills, exceptional attention to detail and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.

Working as part of a supportive and professional team, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth administration of vehicle sales from order through to delivery.

As a Sales Administrator, you'll provide efficient and accurate administrative support to the Sales Team, ensuring vehicle orders, registrations, invoicing and customer documentation are processed correctly and on time.

Your work will be essential in delivering a seamless customer experience.

Key responsibilities include

  • Processing vehicle orders, registrations and invoicing accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintaining accurate vehicle records, files and customer documentation.
  • Monitoring the progress and delivery of retail and fleet vehicles.
  • Ensuring all compliance requirements and vehicle documentation are completed correctly.
  • Liaising with internal departments and external suppliers to coordinate vehicle handovers.
  • Providing administrative support to the Sales Team to help achieve departmental objectives.
  • Delivering excellent customer service throughout the vehicle purchasing journey.
  • Ensuring all sales administration is completed in line with company policies and procedures.

You'll ideally have

  • Previous administration experience, ideally within the automotive industry.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A positive, flexible and team-oriented approach.
  • The ability to work independently and use your own initiative.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
  • A customer-focused mindset with a professional approach.
