The Role

You will provide hands-on support to one or more fee earners handling a varied residential conveyancing caseload, including:

  • Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
  • Re-mortgages
  • Transfers of equity
  • New build matters (where applicable)

The role would suit either an experienced paralegal or a skilled legal secretary with solid conveyancing exposure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting fee earners throughout the full conveyancing process
  • Preparing and drafting standard conveyancing documentation
  • Opening and closing files, carrying out AML and compliance checks
  • Managing correspondence with clients, estate agents, solicitors, lenders and third parties
  • Handling telephone and email enquiries professionally and confidently
  • Using a case management system to progress matters efficiently
  • Providing general administrative and secretarial support as required

About You

  • Previous experience in residential conveyancing is essential
  • Post completion knowledge
  • Land registry experience
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
