We are looking for a passionate Assistant Psychologist to join our team at Cygnet Grange and Lodge. Cygnet Hospital Grange and Lodge are two 8 bed Neuropsychiatric rehabilitation, care and treatment facilities for those affected by acquired brain injuries. The services provide a safe and secure place to aid recovery as well as offering those diagnosed with a progressive neurological disease, like Huntington's Disease, a caring and long term placement to support and help manage the progression of their symptoms.
Your Day-to-Day...
- Contributing to direct and indirect assessments, scoring and reporting (verbal / written).
- Adapting assessment methods, intervention materials in accordance with clients' communication difficulties, sensory needs or cognitive impairment.
- Clinical/neuropsychological formulation and implementing care plans for psychological treatment.
- To oversee the gathering and collation of incident data and evidence as part of the functional analysis and formulation.
- Communicating results, formulations and recommendations arising from assessments to the multidisciplinary team.
- Planning, delivering and evaluating individual / group programmes.
- Administration, audit, research and service development.
You would receive weekly supervision as well as informal support and development opportunities.
We're looking for someone who is...
- Degree qualified in Psychology (2:1 or above) or equivalent.
- BPS (British Psychological Society) Accredited.
- Qualified to Master's degree level or higher in Psychology (preferable).
- Experienced in an Assistant Psychologist role (preferable).
- Passionate about neuro rehabilitation, learning, and working as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Please note: successful candidates will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
