A well-established regional law firm in West Sussex is seeking an experienced Senior Private Client Lawyer to lead its thriving Private Client Department. About the Role:

You will head a busy and successful Private Client team consisting of 12 staff, including 7 Fee Earners. The department handles a broad range of matters including:

  • Wills and Estate Planning
  • Probate and Estate Administration
  • Trusts
  • Court of Protection

In addition to managing the team, the role involves handling a personal caseload and contributing to the firm's business development and marketing initiatives.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years PQE in Private Client law
  • Proven leadership or supervisory experience
  • STEP qualification or working towards it (highly desirable)
  • Strong interpersonal and client relationship skills
  • Commercial awareness and strategic thinking

This position offers excellent career progression, with the potential to advance to Board level for the right candidate.
