We are currently recruiting for a Sales Administrator to join a friendly and supportive automotive team. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and detail-focused individual looking to build a long-term career within the automotive sector. You'll play an important role in supporting the vehicle sales operation, ensuring vehicles are processed efficiently and that stock and administration records are accurate and up to date.

The Role

  • Processing vehicle purchases and supporting vehicle preparation
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date vehicle stock information
  • Managing records and maintaining an effective filing system
  • Building strong working relationships with suppliers, colleagues, trade customers and retail customers
  • Supporting other departments to ensure the efficient supply and movement of vehicles
  • Ensuring all administration is completed accurately and within required timescales
  • Providing general administrative support to the wider sales operation

About You

We're looking for someone who is highly organised, commercially aware and has excellent attention to detail. Previous automotive or product knowledge would be advantageous, although this is not essential. More important is your ability to work accurately, manage multiple tasks and communicate effectively with a wide range of people.

You should have:

  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office and other Microsoft products
  • Experience using a Dealer Management System (DMS) such as Kerridge, ADP or Keyloop
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • A proactive and professional approach
  • The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
