They're now looking to appoint a Qualified Accountant who enjoys working closely with clients, building trusted relationships and delivering high-quality accountancy services within a collaborative, supportive team.

The Role

This is a varied position offering exposure to a broad range of clients and responsibilities. You'll be responsible for:

  • Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts
  • Preparing corporation and personal tax returns
  • Producing management accounts
  • Reviewing bookkeeping and VAT returns
  • Supporting business owners with financial advice and planning
  • Assisting clients with cloud accounting systems including Xero
  • Building and maintaining long-term client relationships
  • Supporting junior members of the team where appropriate
  • Ensuring compliance deadlines are achieved

About You

We're looking for someone who combines strong technical knowledge with excellent client relationship skills. You'll ideally have:

  • ACCA or ACA qualification
  • At least 5 years' experience within an accountancy practice
  • Strong knowledge of accounts preparation and taxation
  • Experience using Xero and cloud accounting software
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach
  • The ability to manage your own workload effectively
