As they continue to expand, they're looking for an ambitious Graduate Accounts & Finance Assistant to join their friendly, supportive team.

The Role
This is a varied role where no two days are the same.
You'll gain exposure to a diverse portfolio of clients and develop your technical knowledge while building strong client relationships.
Your responsibilities will include
- Assisting with the preparation of year-end accounts
- Bookkeeping using cloud-based accounting software including Xero
- Preparing VAT returns
- Bank reconciliations
- Supporting the production of management accounts
- Assisting with personal and corporation tax returns
- Payroll administration when required
- Liaising with clients to obtain financial information and resolve queries
- Supporting Making Tax Digital compliance
- Providing general administrative support to the wider team
As your knowledge and confidence develop, you'll take on increasing responsibility and enjoy genuine career progression.
About You
We're looking for someone who is enthusiastic, motivated and eager to build a long-term career within accountancy.
You'll ideally have
- A degree in Accounting & Finance (or a similar discipline)
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Confident communication skills
- Good IT skills and a willingness to learn new systems
- A proactive attitude with a genuine desire to develop professionally
- Previous experience using Xero or other cloud accounting software would be advantageous but isn't essential.
