Description
Reporting into senior finance leadership, you'll manage a small team while remaining hands-on across the month-end process and financial reporting.
Key responsibilities include
- Leading, mentoring and developing a small finance team.
- Owning the month-end close and ensuring accurate financial reporting.
- Producing management accounts, detailed analysis and meaningful commentary for senior stakeholders.
- Reviewing journals, balance sheet reconciliations and financial controls.
- Business partnering across multiple departments.
- Supporting the audit, compliance and international reporting requirements.
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes, automate reporting and increase efficiency.
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives across the finance function.

You'll ideally have
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification (or exceptional equivalent experience).
- Previous Finance Manager or Senior Management Accountant experience.

- Excellent communication skills with confidence presenting financial information to senior stakeholders.
- A proactive approach to process improvement, systems development or finance transformation.
- The ability to work comfortably within a complex, fast-moving environment.
