We have an exciting opportunity for a Payroll Client Manager to join our Steyning office.

This is an opportunity supporting the Payroll Team in providing an efficient and comprehensive payroll service to clients.

Key responsibilities of a Payroll Client Manager will include

  • supporting the Payroll Team in providing an efficient and comprehensive payroll service to clients
  • day-to-day administration of client payrolls to include RTI submissions and end of year reporting
  • processing starters, leavers, SMP, SPP, SSP etc.
  • uploading pension contributions
  • assisting with reviewing and checking of payrolls
  • assisting Payroll Manager with the setup of pension schemes and any new payrolls
  • dealing with payroll queries
  • meeting strict deadlines and processing all work with a high degree of accuracy

About you

  • We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:
  • experience with IRIS Payroll Professional preferred
  • strong organisational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • awareness of confidentiality and need for discretion
  • comprehensive understanding of pensions and automatic enrolment
  • ability to manually calculate payroll results and explain calculations/breakdown to clients
  • confident in talking to people to build client relationships
  • thorough knowledge of payroll related legislation such as PAYE, NI, family leave etc.
