Are you an experienced Commercial Insurance professional with a passion for leadership, performance, and developing high-performing teams? We're recruiting for a Sales & Renewals Manager to join a growing and ambitious insurance brokerage, leading both Sales and Renewals functions to drive business growth, maximise client retention, and deliver outstanding customer outcomes. The role: As Sales & Renewals Manager, you'll be responsible for leading, motivating, and developing a team of advisors, ensuring both new business and renewal opportunities are managed effectively whilst maintaining exceptional service standards. Working closely with senior leadership, you'll analyse performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement strategies that enhance both team performance and commercial results.
- Lead, coach and develop Sales and Renewals Advisors to achieve individual and team objectives
- Monitor performance through regular one-to-one meetings, KPI reviews and ongoing support
- Create a positive, high-performing culture focused on customer excellence
- Identify training and development needs, implementing coaching plans where required
- Oversee sales activity and renewal processes to maximise growth and retention
- Support advisors with complex customer cases and negotiations
- Analyse performance data and produce regular management reports
- Present insights and recommendations to senior leadership
- Drive opportunities for cross-selling and upselling across the customer base
- Monitor service standards, call quality and customer interactions
- Ensure compliance with FCA regulations, company procedures and quality standards
- Support the onboarding and development of new team members
About You: We're looking for a confident and motivated leader who can bring energy, direction and support to an established team. You'll ideally have:
- Previous experience within the Commercial Insurance sector
- Experience managing, supervising or leading a sales and/or renewals team
- Strong coaching and people development skills
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
- The ability to analyse performance data and translate it into actionable improvements
- A solid understanding of FCA regulations and insurance processes
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- A proactive, positive approach with a continuous improvement mindset
