Our client is seeking a Legal Administrator to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis, providing essential administrative and office support within a busy, leading law firm in Hertfordshire.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Legal Adminstartor looking to develop their skills and gain valuable experience across a variety of legal areas, while working within a fast-paced and professional solicitors' office.

The ideal candidate will be organised, adaptable and confident managing multiple tasks, with the ability to prioritise effectively and thrive in a busy working environment.

Duties for this Legal Administrator role

  • Opening and closing client files in line with firm procedures, including maintaining accurate records on the electronic case management system.
  • Scanning, filing, saving and distributing incoming and outgoing correspondence and documentation.
  • Providing professional reception cover, greeting clients and visitors and ensuring a welcoming, well-prepared reception area.
  • Answering and screening incoming calls, directing callers to the appropriate fee-earners and staff and taking accurate messages.
  • Preparing meeting rooms and coordinating room bookings for consultations, meetings and conference calls.
  • Managing calendars for designated staff, confirming appointments and coordinating rescheduling and cancellations.
  • Receiving and distributing incoming emails and general correspondence to the appropriate internal recipients.
  • Printing, preparing and processing outgoing post.
  • Managing, filing and securely storing original documents.
  • Uploading documents and maintaining accurate information within the electronic case management system.
  • Providing administrative support to lawyers working remotely, including printing, document preparation and filing.
  • Receiving courier deliveries and coordinating outgoing mail and courier collections.
