Your Role as a Mechanical Fitter Will Include:
- Mechanical fitting, assembly, overhaul and refurbishment of specialist equipment
- Stripping, surveying, inspecting and testing mechanical components
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Carrying out mechanical repairs within a workshop environment
- Completing technical documentation and inspection reports
- Working to high quality and health & safety standards
The Successful Mechanical Fitter Will Need:
- Experience as a Mechanical Fitter, Mechanical Technician, Assembly Fitter or similar
- Workshop-based mechanical fitting or overhaul experience
- Experience working on rotating equipment is advantageous
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- Mechanical engineering qualification or apprenticeship preferred
- Commutable to Croydon
