An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and qualified finance professional to join a growing international organisation as a UK Financial Controller within this leading pharmaceutical business.
This is a broad and hands-on role offering responsibility across financial accounting, taxation, treasury, reporting, audit management, budgeting, and business support activities.
Reporting directly to senior leadership, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial operations while supporting strategic decision-making and maintaining compliance with UK financial and tax regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
- Prepare financial statements in accordance with Local GAAP and IFRS.
- Manage corporate tax, VAT, withholding tax, and other statutory filings.
- Coordinate and manage external and internal audits.
- Oversee cash management, payment planning, and bank reconciliations.
- Maintain robust financial controls and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting activities.
- Provide financial insights and forecasts to support business planning and commercial decision-making.
- Act as the primary point of contact for finance-related enquiries.
- Support payroll accounting processes and related reporting requirements.
- Help drive continuous improvement across finance processes and systems.

Essential Requirements
- Qualified Accountant
- Post-qualification experience in the pharmaceutical sector is essential
