An excellent opportunity for a motivated Technical Sales Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for growing their customer account base and increasing sales within it, as well as having a proactive approach to generating new business customers.
You will be expected to converse politely and efficiently with customers ensuring high expectations are met and will be responsible for taking a lead or enquiry through from point of sale to delivery.
The Role:
- Monitor and respond to customer email enquiries
- Support and problem solve customer queries/challenges at every opportunity
- Build quotes and progress orders dependent on customer requirements
- Provide technical advice and make changes to technical drawings to suit customer requirements
- Maintain a high level of service and reliability throughout all customer contact
- Maintain and grow current customer relationships
- Proactively seek out new business opportunities and convert into orders
Person:
The ideal candidate will have good Maths and English skills, be computer literate with experience with the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word & Outlook etc). CAD experience and the ability to read technical drawings is necessary. Understanding of metal specifications would also be useful, together with any knowledge of our cutting methods and previous sales experience preferred. Previous experience within Technical Sales Engineer role and AutoCAD knowledge is required.
