The firm is looking to appoint an experienced Mixed Tax Manager to take responsibility for a varied portfolio of clients, manage a small team and play an important role in the continued development of the firm's tax offering. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a combination of tax compliance and advisory work, and who is keen to develop the advisory side of their experience within a growing and supportive practice.
The Role
- Managing a portfolio of clients and acting as a key point of contact
- Overseeing a range of personal and corporate tax compliance work
- Providing tax advice and supporting clients with their wider tax requirements
- Managing, mentoring and developing members of the tax team
- Reviewing work and ensuring high standards of delivery
- Working closely with the partners and wider accountancy team
- Getting involved in a variety of tax projects and ad hoc advisory assignments
- Identifying opportunities to add value for clients and develop the firm's advisory offering
- Playing an active role in the continued growth of the tax department
About You
Ideally, you will be CTA and/or AAT qualified, with strong experience gained within an accountancy practice. You will have a good grounding in UK tax compliance, together with some advisory experience and a genuine interest in developing this further.
