Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Procurement and Supply Chain teams to provide commercial insight on pricing and cost movements
- Support forecasting, budgeting and long-range planning activities
- Develop scenario modelling and sensitivity analysis to support strategic decisions
- Analyse market trends and their impact on input costs, margins and profitability
- Provide robust commercial challenge and recommendations to senior stakeholders
- Drive improvements in reporting, financial modelling and decision-support tools
- Support risk assessment activities and improve visibility of future cost exposures
- Translate complex financial information into clear, actionable insight for non-finance audiences
- Contribute to business transformation and continuous improvement initiatives
About You
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
- Experience gained within a large, complex organisation
- Strong commercial finance, FP&A or finance business partnering background
- Proven experience partnering with Procurement, Supply Chain or Operational teams
- Excellent financial modelling, forecasting and analytical capability
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders and challenge constructively
- Comfortable operating within a fast-paced environment where priorities evolve quickly
- Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex issues
Desirable
- Experience supporting pricing and procurement decisions
- Exposure to manufacturing, FMCG, consumer goods or industrial environments
- Understanding of commodity-driven cost pressures and market dynamics
