An established commercial insurance brokerage is seeking a Senior Commercial Insurance Handler to join their growing Hertfordshire team.
You will manage a high-value portfolio of corporate clients with premiums reaching up to £250,000.
This role balances technical expertise with client relationship management across the full policy lifecycle, including new business placement and renewals
Key Responsibilities
- Client Lifecycle: Manage mid-term adjustments, complex renewals, and new business placement.
- Risk Advisory: Service diverse risks including Commercial Combined, Property, Liability, Fleet, and Financial Lines.
- Market Negotiation: Broking risks to a wide panel of composite insurers and Lloyd's syndicates.
- Platform Management: Daily utilisation of the Acturis system for accurate documentation and processing.
- Client Retention: Build strong relationships with corporate clients to ensure high retention rates
- Candidate Profile
- Experience: Proven background handling mid-to-corporate commercial risks with premiums over £50k.
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of Liability, Fleet, Financial Lines, and Commercial Combined policies.
- System Skills: High proficiency using the Acturis trading platform is essential.
- Certifications: Cert CII or ACII qualification is highly desirable.
