Duties of a Senior Vehicle Technician
- Undertake maintenance, service, and repair tasks on motor vehicles to the highest standards
- Complete work efficiently, adhering to manufacturer time guidelines
- Record diagnosis details, work performed, and parts used in line with group and manufacturer standards
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment
- Communicate effectively and professionally with colleagues and customers
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction are achieved and maintained
- Keep up to date with emerging technologies, including electric and hybrid vehicles
Requirements of a Senior Vehicle Technician
- Qualified to a minimum NVQ level 2 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or Senior Vehicle Technician
- Must hold a valid UK driving licence
- Strong technical knowledge and diagnostic skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
