About the team
Are you an experienced Defendant RTA Solicitor/ Team Leader and/or experienced litigator looking for a new challenge? We are looking for an experienced litigator / team leader to join our Motor Team. You would join our friendly, down-to-earth firm that combines good quality work with a fast paced & rewarding work environment. The Motor Team has enjoyed a wealth of success in bringing on new accounts, making for a rapid expansion of the department and a call for a third team leader to join the set. You will join the firm reporting to the Operational Lead and Head of Motor. You will lead a team of lawyers with a mixed range of experience in your day-to-day role alongside the other team leaders.
What you'll be doing
You will lead, inspire, and motivate the team to deliver an effective service to our clients and meet business KPI's, SLA's and financial performance. You will coach the team, monitor performance, identify training needs and undertake case/performance reviews. Frequent analysis of management information and reporting against the financial KPI's is required. You will be proficient in completing MI and to undertake file reviews and support with auditors. You will have experience handling a litigated caseload to be able to guide and advise members of the team to achieve best practice with being the go-to with technical supervision. This is a great opportunity to collaborate with the wider firm on operational projects and the daily operations here at HF. You will also have experience managing and supervising a litigated claims team. We are big on providing the best support to our clients and you would be a crucial part in supporting our client relationships and would have the opportunity to be a part of new tenders and events.
What do I need?
You will have a strong litigation background and previous management experience within a legal services environment as well as experience managing a litigated caseload to allow you to guide and advise members of your team. You will be team oriented and collaborative with a can-do attitude with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely whether through writing or orally. You'll be able to demonstrate the ability to multitask and prioritise a full workload under pressure.
