Commercial Litigation NQ – Salford

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Newly Qualified Solicitor to join the Commercial Litigation team of a leading commercial law firm in Manchester.

This is an ideal role for an ambitious NQ looking to build their career within a highly regarded disputes practice.

You'll work alongside experienced partners and senior lawyers on a broad range of high-quality commercial litigation, gaining exposure to complex matters from day one while benefiting from excellent mentoring and structured career development.

The Role

  • You'll assist and advise on a wide variety of commercial disputes, including:
  • Breach of contract claims
  • Shareholder, partnership and director disputes
  • Professional negligence claims
  • Commercial fraud matters
  • Debt recovery and business disputes
  • Injunctive relief applications
  • High Court litigation
  • Alternative dispute resolution, including mediation

You'll support senior lawyers on complex matters whilst gradually taking responsibility for your own caseload, enjoying regular client contact and the opportunity to develop your technical expertise within a collaborative team.

About You

The successful candidate will ideally have

  • Recently qualified as a Solicitor or due to qualify shortly
  • Completed at least one Commercial Litigation seat during your training contract
  • Strong technical ability and excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent drafting, communication and organisational skills
  • A genuine interest in commercial dispute resolution
  • A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the confidence to build client relationships
