Are you quality-focused, hardworking, and looking for a role where you can make a real impact? Our client in Rochester is seeking a QC Operative to join their busy team, ensuring all work meets strict quality standards and customer deadlines.
The Role
- Inspect completed work to manufacturer and customer guidelines
- Ensure all Jobcard activities are carried out and closed correctly
- Work efficiently to meet customer deadlines and internal lead times
- Report delays or issues that may impact schedules
- Maintain high-quality standards throughout the final repair process
- Record pass/fail outcomes with clear reasons to support records
- Ensure correct PPE is worn and report any H&S concerns promptly
- Take pictures in line with customer requirements
- Complete final QC checks before vehicles leave site
- Attend training to stay up to date with new processes and products
- Keep all working areas clean, organised, and free of hazards
- Prepare basic reports when needed
- Perform ad-hoc duties as required
Person Requirements
- Must drive with own vehicle due to location
- Full UK driving licence
- Previous experience in a quality control role is beneficial, but not essential - full training is provided
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach
- Ability to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment
