Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias)

Location: Rochester, Kent
Salary: £57,750 per annum
Hours: Rotating shifts - 07:00-19:00 & 12:00-00:00 (occasional 09:00-21:00)

On behalf of our client, we are recruiting for an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with a strong electrical bias to join a busy manufacturing site.

The Role

  • Planned, preventative and reactive maintenance
  • Electrical and mechanical fault finding
  • PLC diagnostics and repairs
  • Support continuous improvement projects
  • Assist with machinery installations and commissioning
  • Maintain CMMS records and ensure Health & Safety compliance

Requirements

  • Previous maintenance engineering experience within manufacturing or production
  • Electrically biased with strong mechanical skills
  • Recognised engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3, Apprenticeship, HNC/HND, City & Guilds or equivalent)
  • PLC fault-finding experience
  • CMMS experience
