We're looking for an experienced Occupational Health & Wellbeing Advisor to join a well-established in-house Occupational Health team.

This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in delivering a proactive occupational health service that supports employee wellbeing, improves attendance, and helps create a healthy, high-performing workplace.

The Role

As an Occupational Health & Wellbeing Advisor, you'll provide expert clinical advice and support to employees, managers, and HR while delivering a comprehensive occupational health service.

Your responsibilities will include

  • Managing a varied occupational health case management caseload.
  • Producing clear, evidence-based management reports with recommendations on fitness for work, workplace adjustments, recuperative duties, and return-to-work programmes.
  • Providing professional occupational health advice and guidance to managers, employees, and HR.
  • Participating in case conferences and multidisciplinary meetings, offering medical advice to support informed decision-making.
  • Undertaking health surveillance and fitness-for-work assessments where required.
  • Promoting health and wellbeing initiatives to support a positive workplace culture.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have

  • Registered Nurse status with a valid NMC PIN.
  • A Postgraduate Diploma or Undergraduate Degree in Occupational Health.
  • Previous experience working as an Occupational Health Advisor.
  • Knowledge and experience of health surveillance and fitness-for-work assessments.
  • Excellent communication, report writing, and stakeholder management skills.
