Are you an experienced MEP Construction Manager, Building Services Manager or MEP Project Manager looking to work client-side on a major UK rail infrastructure and tunnelling programme? This is an excellent opportunity to oversee the installation, testing and commissioning of a major MEP package covering ventilation shafts, headhouses and supporting infrastructure across a nationally significant programme.

You will provide independent construction assurance, monitoring the delivery contractor and ensuring MEP systems are installed safely, correctly and in line with the approved designs. The package includes tunnel ventilation, HV and LV distribution, fire and life-safety systems, BMS, lighting, pumping and drainage.

The organisation offers excellent long-term career prospects, including progression into senior construction management positions and opportunities to move across future infrastructure packages. This role would suit an experienced MEP construction professional who has delivered complex building-services packages and is now looking to move into a client-side position with greater technical oversight and influence.

The Role:

  • Provide client-side assurance across major MEP installation works
  • Review RAMS, Work Package Plans, ITPs, WIRs and commissioning documentation
  • Inspect works and monitor quality, programme, safety and contractor performance
  • Support testing, commissioning, systems integration and final handover
  • Work closely with engineering, project, commercial and commissioning teams

The Person:

  • MEP Construction Manager, Building Services Manager or MEP Project Manager
  • Experience delivering substantial MEP packages on complex construction or infrastructure projects
  • Strong knowledge of installation, testing and commissioning across mechanical and electrical systems
  • Relevant MEP qualification with SMSTS and/or a valid CSCS card
  • Able to commute to Rickmansworth and work predominantly on site
